EDITH REEVS BRANNER (Age 91)

Of Sterling, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, VA.
Born on November 14, 1922 in Shelter Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late John Reevs and Edith Bowditch Reevs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Branner in 2007 and her daughter, Carol Branner Alarcon.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa and Paul Orphanides; her daughter, Lori and David Silver; her brother, Gordon Reevs; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Sterling United Methodist Church located at 304 E. Church Road, Sterling, VA 20164 with Rev. Randy Duncan, officiating. A private burial will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of Loudoun County Adult Day Centers, L.C., 16501 Meadowview Ct., Leesburg, VA 20175.
