Caroline passed away at the age of 78, on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at the Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples, MN.
Caroline Alberta Macho was born to John and Frances (Sebota) Adamietz on September 18, 1935, in Moran Township, near Staples, MN. She was united in marriage with Isidor Henry Macho on September 23, 1953, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples. As a busy and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Caroline’s days were filled with gardening, sewing, and attending various functions and sporting events of her children and grandchildren. She also loved to play piano dance, sing, fish, hunt and travel. She also managed to find time to be a nurse’s assistant and farming partner! Caroline was a member of the Christian Mothers and Busy Homemakers Club.
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents John and Frances; brothers Steve, Anthony, John and Frank Adamietz; and sisters Angeline Dennemeyer, Barbara Adamietz, and Betty Vogel.
She is survived by her devoted husband Isidor; children Barbara (Dennis) Richter of Verndale, Mary (James) Trutwin of Monroe City, MO, Joseph (Kristy) Macho of Glenwood, Darlene (Gregory) Hansmann of Hamel, Monica (Jeffrey) Schindeldecker of Menahga, Victor (Kari) Macho of St. Cloud and Joyce Macho of Wadena; 14 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren; sisters MaryAnn (Victor) Collins of San Rafael, CA and Helen Jares of Staples.
