Friend M. Cecil 98 of New Martinsville, died Saturday, November 1, 1975 in Magnolia Nursing Home, Sistersville. Born August 18, 1887 in Proctor District he was the son of the late George and Martha Greenley Cecil.
Two wives, Della Wright and Dora Wright preceded him in death. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired farmer. Surviving are a son, John of New Martinsville; four daughters, Austa Bland of Reader, Florence Wade of Clarington Ohio, Martha Shepherd and Vina Richmond of New Martinsville; 62 grandchildren and 152 great grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Iams Funeral Home New Martinsville where services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Evangelist Robert Cossin.
Interment in Northview.
