Mary Belle (Nicholson) Morton, 70, of Blairsville, widow of John Henry Morton, died January 11, 1958, from coronary thrombosis.

She was born August 7, 1887, in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, a daughter of George Nicholson & Cora May Gearhart.

Her husband, who died 10 years ago, was an immigrant from England. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Alvin Morton.

She is survived by the following children, Winifred, Mildred, Charles Cecil, Evelyn, Harry, Letha, Raymond, Joseph "JR", & Mary Grace.

Burial in Hillside Cemetery on January 14, 1958.
