Cleora M. Merry, 95, of Perth passed away peacefully on October 20, 2014 at the E.L. Wilkinson Nursing Home. Born in the Town of Perth on March 16, 1919, she is the daughter of the late Lloyal and Jennie Adams Miller.
Cleora is a life time resident of the area and a graduate of Perth Central School, Class of 1937. She was employed as a Sales Clerk for Seely Conover Company in Amsterdam for over 30 years. She was a devoted lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and was proud to be one of the oldest members. She was also a Sunday school teacher and enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting. Cleora was especially fond of her niece Carol Jones.
Survivors include son, Robert K. (Patricia) Merry of Marcy, NY and daughter Margaret C. Merry of Perth; grandchildren Robert K. (Lynn) Merry, Jr., Darryl (Sharon) Merry, and Brian (Anne) Merry; great grandchildren, Kyle, Jessica, David, Kendal and Brenden. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
She is predeceased by a brother, Lloyal Miller, Jr. and a sister Harriet Lynch.
