Mary Elizabeth (Rousey) Grable: She was born May 8, 1855, Dekalb County, Missouri, to William M. Rousey and his wife Adeline Sampson. Mary married Thomas Riley Grable, October 14, 1873. They had eight children: Florence Gertrude, Mattie Martha,William Perry, Adelia Mae, Kathrine Marcelia, Thomas Elmer, Clara and Grace. Mary died September 5, 1917, in Valley Cemetery, Garden City, Finney County, Kansas.
