Christopher Taggart Barton, adored father, son, brother, and uncle, passed away on October 11, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona from a massive brain aneurism.

"Tag," as he was known by, was born December 26, 1975 in Denver, Colorado.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, playful personality, and love of family and friends. He was a fighter to the end.

A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served a Spanish speaking mission to Boston, Massachusetts.

He attended Salt Lake Community College and UVU.

His passions were his four-year-old daughter, Presley; music - creating, listening and dancing to it---; snowboarding; and sharing his love with others.

True to your nickname "Persh," you are precious to us and will be remembered every day.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Mary Barton; five siblings, Laurie Hoer (Mike), Cheryl Barton, Bryon Barton (Dianna), Mike Barton (Alyssa), and Katie Hoskin (Joe); and twenty-five nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East), East Millcreek, at 12:30 p.m., followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m.
