Mr. Hege was born in Perry township, May 29, 1861, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hege, and had been a resident of Tippecanoe county all his life. He was a farmer and about 15 years ago moved to Lafayette, living here until about a year ago, when he went to the home of his daugher, Mrs. Lahrman. He was married Oct. IT, 1882, to Carrie Schmitz, who died four years ago. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic church.
Surviving are four children, John of near Mulberry, Mrs. Cora Yost, of Lafayette, and Harry and Mrs. Lahrman of near Dayton, with 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Lawrence church, Saturday morning at 9 o'clock, with interment In St. Boniface cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Lahrman home.
