Born in Lafayette, he was a farmer, and had spent all his life in Tippecanoe County. He retired two years ago. In 1915 he married Margaret Kerkoff. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, Lafayette, Stockwell Conservation club, and Tippecanoe County Farm Bureau.
Surviving with the widow are two sons, Harry P. of Lafayette, and Arthur O. of Stockwell; a daughter, Mrs. Reed Leamon of Paris, Ill., and two sisters, Mrs. Walter J. Yost and Mrs. Lawrence Lahrman, both of Lafayette.
Services were held Monday morning at St. Mary's Cathedral, Lafayette. Burial was in St. Boniface cemetery, Lafayette.
