SULLIVAN – Darlene N., 72, Twin Rocks, went on to become an angel Oct. 9, 2014. Born Oct. 27, 1941, in Twin Rocks, daughter of the late Harry R. and Leona (Nealen) Wright. Preceded in death by husband, Gary L.; brothers, Harry “Sonny” and Regis; and sisters, Sandy and Donna. Survived by children, Wendy (Thomas) Teleha; Melissa (Dan); Kevin (Lynette); Jennifer (Paul) Dugan; Amanda (Scott); Suzanne (Mark) Reposa; Christopher (Michelle); and Bridget (James) Mazey; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Corinne (Peter) Gaboda and Karen Wright. Retired registered nurse from the former Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Member of the former St. Charles Catholic Church, Twin Rocks. She loved her crossword puzzles, especially the New York Times puzzle, as well as debating politics and spending time with her grandchildren. At Darlene’s request, there will be no viewing. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mundys Corner, the Very Rev. Andrew C. Stanko, VF, celebrant. Private interment at St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Darlene’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Wounded Warriors Project.
