Ralph Herman Wood, 66, died Sunday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Moore's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Wood, a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, was a retired employee of Central State Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carrie Mae Snow Wood of Milledgeville; two sons, Charles Wood of Macon and Dawson Wood of Irwinton; five daughters, Mrs. Jacquelyn Mercer of Toomsboro, Mrs. Annie Johnson of Macon, Mrs. Joan Quinn, Miss Teresa Wood and Miss Lynelle Wood, all of Milledgeville; a brother, James B. Wood of Austin, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Jack Beckum of Milledgeville
