Anna (Kuhlman) Miggs Martin
=====
Anna was born March 5, 1914, in Winnipeg, Canada, to Frederick Kuhlman and Anna Weber, the third of eight children.

A direct descendent of Catherine the Great, her family immigrated from Stuttgart, Germany, to Rosenberg, Russia, in the late 1700s. Her parents, born in Russia, immigrated to Winnipeg in 1911, and to the United States in 1918, settling in Scottsbluff, Neb., where she grew up and married. She raised her family in Nebraska, southern Idaho and Clarkston.

She was a wonderful homemaker and loved to cook and bake for her family. Through hardships and good times she loved and devoted her life to caring and loving her family; she was strong, courageous, generous, sweet, kind, loving and giving. She also loved caring for her little yellow home on Sixth Street and took great pride in her yard. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Clarkston.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter Shirley; two sisters, Esther Kuhlman and Catherine Schwindt; and two brothers, Frederick Kuhlman Jr. and Henry Kuhlman.
