In 1892 Wallace entered the College of Physicians in Baltimore, MD. He graduated with his Medical Degree in General Practice in 1895. He then moved to Ramey, PA and then to Houtzdale.
Wallace married Lillian Mae Wood on May 23, 1888 they had three children Boyd, Bessie and George. Lillian died May 26, 1898. After Lillian's death Wallace married Anna Louise Fulton on June 10, 1903 they had three children Rita, Vera and Wallace.
