Funeral services for Allene Gerhardt Lewis, 94, will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 7, 2005 at the North Chapel of George A Smith & Sons with Brother Stan Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Springs Cemetery near Mercer, TN.
Mrs. Lewis died Friday, March 4, 2005 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born on October 29, 1910 in Madison County, TN to the late William & Minnie Josephine Robinson Gerhardt. She was a member of Westover Baptist Church.
She was married on July 12, 1936 to Robert Clay Lewis, who preceded her in death on March 28, 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruby Lewis Foster (Von) of Jackson, TN and a son Dr Robert C Lewis (Frances) of Enterprise, AL; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home - George A Smith & Sons, North Chapel. 731-427-5555
