Daniel Snowberger the son of Urick and Barbara (Ingold) Snowberger remained on his father's farm in Antietam Cove, near Roadside. He married Mary Foreman the daughter of Frederick and his first wife Dekla (Thecla) (Mentze)r Foreman. Both Daniel and Mary, as well as their respective father's, lie buried in the family burying ground, which occupies a commanding place hill overlooking the farmstead.

They had children:
(1.) Jacob Snowberger married first Martha Shockey.
(2.) Frederick Snowberger married a Shockey. They migrated to Ohio and later Indiana, where they both died.
(3.) Barbara Snowberger married first David Hess, after his death married his brother John Hess.
(4.) John F. Snowberger married Sarah Hoover and removed to Bedford County. They later migrated to Ashland County, Oho.
(5.) George Snowberger never married. He drowned in the east branch of the Antietam creek.
(6.) Daniel Snowberger Jr. married Martha Young.
(7.) Susan Snowberger married Henry Hykes and lies in the family burying ground. They only had one child Ann Elizabeth who married Daniel Oller.
(8.) Elizabeth Snowberger never married wed. She resided on the home farm with her brothers George and Elias. She was legally blind.
(9.) Abraham Lincoln Snowberger built the present house on the on the northeast corner of the Tomstown and Shank-Hess roads, a short distance north of Waynesboro. He married Catherine Hess's daughter of Frederick and Anna (Singer Hess.
(10.) Elias Snowberger died unmarried. He committed suicide by hanging himself in the attic of his residence.
(11.) Christina Snowberger married Jacob F. Hess, son of Frederick and Anna (Singer) Hess.
(12.) David Snowberger who died in infancy.
