He also is survived by two sons, Jack (Marsha) Weddle and J. Daniel (Kathleen) Weddle; one granddaughter, Emily Weddle; one grandson, Scott (Kimberly) Weddle; four great-grandchildren, Katherine, Madeline, John and Faith Weddle; one brother-in-law, John Brown; one nephew; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Daniel Weddle; sister, Irene McKinley; and niece, Jill.
He started in the grocery business with his father at Weddle's IGA in Cisco. In 1963, the family moved to Havana, Ill., to open Weddle's IGA. A.B. was the owner and operator for 20 years.
