Sarah Abbie Booth was born September 29, 1856 to George and Mary (Maynard) Booth in Galena, Jo Daviess Co, IL. The family soon moved on to Wisconsin where she grew up. Sarah married David Baptiste LaFont on 17 Sep 1872 in St Croix Falls, Polk Co, WI. Sarah and David raised eight children, Sophie, Charlotte, Anna, Mary (Mayme), Harriet, Margaret, Olive, and George. Daughters Charlotte and Anna, ages 9 and 6, passed away in 1884; David died in 1895. Sarah married Richard Love, a widower, on 13 Oct 1897 in Eureka, Polk Co, WI. They had one son together, Samuel W Love. Sarah Abbie Booth died 21 Mar 1920 at the age of 63. She is buried at the Wolf Creek Cemetery, Wolf Creek, Sterling Tsp, Polk Co, WI.
