Francis passed away on March 13, 2009. He was born October 10, 1925 in Danby Township the son of Nelson and Johanna (Trierweiler) Densmore. Francis was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus #2168 in Portland. He was a lifelong farmer, living on the same farm his whole life. His family was very important to him, he enjoyed the yearly trip to Ludington and spending time during the winter in Florida with his wife, Joyce. Francis was preceded in death by his grandson, Trevor Buck; sisters Laurina Knight, Catherine Romwalter, Josephine Westrin, Bernestine McNamara; brothers George, Herb and Robert, Sr. Densmore. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Joyce; 7 children: (5 daughters and 2 sons); 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and 3 on the way. Mass of Christian Burial was at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland with Rev. Larry King, presiding. Rite of Committal followed at Portland Cemetery.
