Mitchell L Bennett loving father, and grandfather was born on June 4, 1964 the son of Loyal and Dorothy Bennett. He passed away September 30, 2014 from injuries sustained in an auto bike accident.
Mitchell loved anything to do with biking. He started racing a BMX bike when he was 13. He raced for three years all over the inter mountain west. He was one of the first three Pro BMX racers in Utah, He ranked 14th in the nation. He was an accomplished artist, oils and ceramics were among his favorite mediums. He loved wrestling and mixed martial arts.
He was compassionate and loving. One of his greatest pleasures was helping the needy. He provided and repaired many bikes for them. He participated in the Liberty Park Drum Circle often and had many friends there.
Most of all he loved being a father and best friend to his boys and grandfather to his two grand children.
He is survived by his parents, his wife Terrilyn Bennett, his sons Rick, Austin and Trevor, grand children RJ and Ariel and his siblings Susan, (Leonard), Kevin, (Debbie) and Rodney (Judy) and nieces and nephews.
He could do most anything but he got paid for being a expert painter, welder, and mover. He was a member of the LDS Church and believed good in all faiths and people.
To celebrate his life a memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday October 4th at the LDS Central Park Ward on 2700 South and 3rd East. Family will receive visitors from 12:00 to 12:45 the Memorial will be from 12:45 to 1:30 pm.
