She was a homemaker, a former legal secretary, bowler, square dancer, and the wife of Walter Korszniak. She participated with her husband in the Batona Hiking Club, and was a member of many senior clubs. Her newspaper obiturary suggested "In lieu of flowers or contributions, she requested that friends and family spend time with a senior citizen and treat them to a meal or an outing." (When Rudy Schatz first listed this memorial, he said "She sounds like a good woman", and indeed, she was a very good woman!)
