Robert C. "Bob" Hall, 74, of 407 S. Kellogg St. died at 6:05 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2007, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born Sept. 30, 1932, in Douglas, Ill., to Floyd and Ruth (Krey) Hall. He married Pauline Maher on June 3, 1953, in Brimfield. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Robert E. (Susie) Hall of Elmwood; one daughter, Cathy (Vince) Bublitz of Brimfield; four grandsons, Brandon, Justin, Chris and Todd; two stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; four half brothers, Bill Oliver, Dave Hall, Mike Hall and Steve Hall; and one half sister, Sharon Hall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two half sisters, and one half brother.

Bob was a graduate of Elmwood High School and was an Army veteran serving in Korea during the Korean War.

He was a salesman for industrial lighting, later worked at Pabst Brewery for 10 years and later owned and operated Halls Brew Room from 1975 until his death.

Cremation rites have been accorded, there will be no services or visitation. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
