Rose Hoaglen, born March 14, 1931 at Covelo, was laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery last Saturday. She died as a result of an auto accident, failing to negotiate a curve in the road leaving the valley to the south. Rev E B DeFord conducted services at the Methodist Indian Church. Mrs Beatrice Lovell, Mrs Bertha Haydon and Harold Goodwin sang comforting hymns.

Rose is survived by her grandfather, Frank Whipple; grandmother, Mrs Florence Hoaglen; her parents, Mr and Mrs Acie Hoaglen, and four children, Peron, Kenneth, Charlene and Doreen. There are five brothers and five sisters to mourn her passing: Emergene, Franklin, Arvid, Cordell and Acie Jr Hoaglen, Mrs Elaine McKinley of Klamath, OR, Ruby, Althea, Fern and Wilma Hoaglen.

Pall Bearers were Gene, Claude and Bernie Hoaglen, her uncles, Lewis Hoaglen and Floyd Wright, cousins, and Emergene Hoaglen, her brother.
