A funeral will be held for Jerry "Cordell" Hoaglen of Covelo 11AM at the United Methodist Church in Covelo, with Pastor Robert Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Covelo. He died Saturday August 31. He was 56.
Born in Covelo October 8 1945, to Acie and Pearl Hoaglen, he and his family are lifelong residents of the Covelo valley.
Mr Hoaglen is survived by daughters Marian Hoaglen of Hayward, Jill Hoaglen of Covelo, Lotoya Hoaglen of Covelo; step daughters Rosalie and Stephanie Cordova of Covelo and step-son Rosento Cordova of Redding; sisters Elaine Holmes of Potter Valley, Fern Hoaglen and Wilma Phillips, both of Covelo; brothers Frank Hoaglen of Covelo, Arvid Hoaglen of Chiloquin, Oregon, Acie Hoaglen Jr of Covelo; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
