Lora Young Brown passed away February 26, 2001, in Bountiful, Utah at the age of 92.

Born in Salt Lake City on June 28, 1908 to Albert F. Young and Gertrude Derbidge Young. Married Merrill F. Brown on April 30, 1929, in Salt Lake City. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt lake Temple.

Preceded in death by her husband, son, grandson and great grandson.

Survived by one sister, Jane Robinson, Temple, AZ; daughter, Marilyn B. Pierce (Elton K.); six grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Lora was active in several church callings throughout her life. She loved cooking and being with her family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2001, at 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 S. 1700 E. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, make a donation to Primary Children's Hospital in her name.
