Cuba - Mrs. Blanche Schisler, 81, of Rock Island died at Graham Hospital at Canton Thursday at 3:15 p.m. after an extended illness.
She was born at London Mills Dec. 23, 1887, and was reared and educated there. She married Arthur R. Schisler July 16, 1910, at Galesburg and he died May 25, 1969.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Eileen Formhalls of St. Augustine, Mrs. Avis Wells of Cuba, Mrs. Marla Weese of Miland and Mrs. Radene Lowry of Rock Island; two sons, Byron Schisler of Fairview and Forrest Schisler of Rock Island; 27 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cleve Butler of Fairview and George Butler of Canton, and a sister, Mrs. Leah Dowell of Prairie City.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Rock Island.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Hukill Funeral Chapel at Cuba. Rev. Donald Wolkenhauer of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Rock Island will officiate. Burial will be at Coal Creek Lutheran Cemetery north of Fairview. Visitation will be Sunday after 4 p.m. at the chapel.
