STATESBORO -- Joanne Wells Hendrix, 63, died Oct. 26 at Bulloch Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Bulloch County and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a cashier and hostess for Shoney's Restaurant for many years. At the time of her death, she was a cashier for Lowes Building Supply.
SURVIVORS: two sons, Danny Lamar Wells of Lyons and Carroll Ray Wells of Statesboro; two stepdaughters, Elaine McDuffie of Brooklet and Teresa Davis of Statesboro; a stepson, Mike Hendrix of Clito; two sisters, Lottie B. Stephens and Frances E. Spivy, both of Pembroke; five brothers, C.B. Lee of Pembroke, J.C. Lee of Statesboro, Walter E. Lee of Brooklet, Lawrence Lee of Marion, Ind., and Leroy Lee Jr. of Springfield; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
