William served in the Civil War with Company K, 11th Indiana Cavalry.

The Death Roll.
William E. Loman.
After an illness of more than a year with tuberculosis William Edward Loman died at 12:45 o'clock yesterday morning at the Home hospital. He was born in this city 49 years ago and nearly all his life was spent here. For then years he was employed as a laborer at the Monon shops and was well and favorably known. Mr. Loman was united in marriage in 1901 with Miss Josephine Walker, who with the following children survive: Sylvia, Flossie, Lucille and Edna Loman. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Louise Stewart. The body was prepared for burial at the Frank & Son Parlors and was yesterday taken to the family home, 2224 North Twenty-second street, to await interment. The funeral will be conducted from the home tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Grimes will officiate, with interment in Springvale Cemetery.
