Mrs. Louise LOMAN, 92, Widow of War Veteran, Dies at Fisher Home.
Mrs. Louise Loman, 92, widow of Charles Loman, who was a Civil War veteran, died at 11:05 o'clock Saturday forenoon from infirmities of age at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles Fisher, 1631 North Thirteenth street. Mrs. Loman was born in Kansas (sic), May 8, 1836; her husband died 28 years ago. She had lived in Lafayette for 50 years. Surviving are the daughter Mrs. Fisher, several grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be at the Fisher home, Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, with Rev. H. Frieling, of the First Reformed church in charge; interment in the Soldiers' Home cemetery, where her husband lies buried.

According to Charles Loman's Civil War widow pension application her name was Mariah Louisa Gilman Loman and she was previously married and divorced before she married Charles Loman. She also married after Charles Loman passed.
