PLATTSBURGH - Mrs. Helen M. Allen, 84, of Okemos, Mich., and Champlain, died Saturday in the Lansing Hospital.
She was born in Saranac Jan. 1, 1893, the daughter of Dr. Sidney and Clara M. (Turner) Mitchell. She was the widow of Dr. George Allen of Champlain.
Mrs. Allen had been a winter resident of Okemos for the past 12 years and resided in Champlain the rest of the year.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. R. C. (Sidney) Peets of Okemos, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. F. Ray (Pearl) Adams of Springfield, Vt., and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery here.
