Freda Howard Blanton, 96, of Simpsonville, formerly of Louisville died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville.

She was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Blanton.

She is survived by her daughter, Diann North, Simpsonville; grandchildren; Becky North, Simpsonville; Susan North Raisor, Shelbyville; Kelly Nethery, Bagdad; Noelle Mathis, Shelbyville; 10 great grandchildren and her brother, Burrell Howard, Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Hayes officiating. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, KY.
