KAYSVILLE--Laddie Weston Timothy, age 71, passed away at his home on Thursday morning, February 20, 1997 of natural causes.

Laddie was born September 7, 1925, a son of Mary Jane King and Weston Timothy in Roosevelt, Utah. He married his sweetheart, Cleo "Billie" Campbell on September 21, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He proudly served his country in World War II in the Army Air Corps as a pilot. He worked at Hill Air Force Base for 32 years. He enjoyed working with hard wood and building his children homes. Laddie was active in the LDS Church serving in various capacities.

He loved the scouting program and the scouts with whom he worked. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Billie; his children, Michael (Katherine) Timothy; Julie (Coleman) Scheuller; Gayle (Lynn) Blamires; Brad (Karen) Timothy; Suzanne (Jim) McAllister; Emily (Bob) Smith; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, February 24, 1997 at the Kaysville LDS Tabernacle, 198 West Center. Friends and family may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, and on Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
