Laceyville, Mrs. Adelia Singer, 71 passed away (March 08, 1959) at the Danville Hospital late Sunday night following a long illness. Mrs. Singer was born (June 03, 1887) in Herrickville, a daughter of the late Aaron and Matilda Wells Frisbie. She lived and spent most of her life in Rush Township and is survived by a daughter Mrs. Ralph Stanton of Silvara, Two sons; Harold Devine of Binghamton, and Edward Woodruff of Halstead; two sisters Mrs. Bert Woodruff of Laceyville R.D. and Mrs. Francis Wildrick of Chester, PA. A brother Leslie Frisbie of Towanda,; 16 grandchildren; several great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Beaver Meadows Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sheldon Funeral Home in Laceyville Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Contributed by Carol Brotzman.
