Martha Kay Steele, 85, of Cherokee Village, Ar., formerly of Sioux City, IA, passed away on Oct. 10, 1999 at at Eaglecrest Nursing Center, Ash Flat, Ark. Martha, the daughter of John H. and Ammie (Ivey) Dunaway, was born on Sept. 14, 1914 at her Grandparent’s home in Thomson, GA.

Martha married Robert Steele, June 13, 1946, Lima, Ohio. The couple made their home in Sioux City until their retirement. Kay and Bob moved to Cherokee Village, Ark., in August 1982.

Martha was a member of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ and an associate member of Spring River Presbyterian Church in Hardy, Ark.

A memorial services will be held on Friday at Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars.

Martha will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother and a sister.
