KAYSVILLE--Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Claude Marion Williams, 82, passed away Monday, December 6, 1993 in Layton.
He was born February 13, 1911 in Ogden, Utah, a son of George and Pearl Ada Bramwell Williams.
He married Gwendolyn June Neilan; they later divorced.
He married Ruth L. Shields, May 22, 1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He graduated from Davis High and attended Weber State University. He was an active member of the LDS Church, Kaysville 4th Ward. He loved going to temple weekly, and served in many capacities. He retired from Hill Air Force Base after 42 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of Kaysville; three sons and two daughters, Sheldon and Jan Williams, American Fork; Dean Williams, Bountiful; Myron Williams, Kaysville; Angela and David Prime, Kearns; Cindy Williams, Salt Lake City; Georgia and Scott Thurman, Layton; eight grandchildren; also surviving are three brothers and two sisters, Rulon Williams, South Weber; Woodrow Williams, Ruport, Idaho; Lyle Williams, Tacoma, Wash.; Iva Larsen, Roy; Wanda Reid, Lindon. He was preceded in death by a son, Leon, his parents, two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 11, 1993, 11 a.m., at the Kaysville 4th LDS Ward chapel, 200 North 875 East, Kaysville. Friends may call Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, and at the church Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
