Wallace Altaha Sr. known as R14 or Ah Wuss Tah Heah was a well-known Apache Cattleman. Besides being a cattle man he was an Apache Chief, Medicine Man, and claimed to be an Indian Scout for the United States military. Mr. Altaha submitted for a pension citing his Indian Scout service, noting that he served from 1887 through 1889. His pension was denied.

He was also a known Medicine Man and Apache Chief. He was married to Dora Kahn of Carrizo.
