Alvin C. Robbins and Minnie Jameson were married at Utah County, Utah on Dec. 23, 1897. They came with their family to Canada, where Alvin Carter applied for homestead entry Oct. 24, 1913 on NE 18-18-27W4, near Frankburg, Alberta, south of Blackie.

Elderly Man Collapses, Dies
Alvin C. Robbins, aged 66, of 112 Seventeenth avenue west, collapsed and died of a heart attack at his home Monday.
Mr. Robbins was formerly employed by the City of Calgary and for the past two years has been engaged in construction work at city and district airports. In recent months he had been employed at the Municipal airport.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Robbins, Calgary; four sons, Alvin, George and Stanley, all of Calgary, and Kenneth, in Lethbridge; three daughters, Mrs. G. L. Evans, Calgary, Mrs. A. Marshall, Edmonton, and Mrs. Albert Stewart, Regina; two brothers, John in Calgary, and Joseph in Blackie, Alberta; and nine grandchildren.
