Born at Wann, Okla., to Archie Aaron and Anna Maybelle (Moore) Gaskill. She grew up and received her education in the Wann area, graduating from Wann High School in 1954. She was married to John Hamilton Mitten, Freemont, NE. 5-7-1956.
She was married to Nicholas Van Eck, Oakland, CA 6-12-1972. They returned to Oklahoma in 1982 making their home first in Bartlesville and then moving to Wann to make their home. Mr. van Eck preceeded her in death in 1991.
Survivors include six brothers, Wayne Gaskill of Woodland, CA., Leon Gaskill of Wann, Oklahoma, Frank Gaskill of Strasburg, Ohio, Jim Gaskill of Lamont, Oklahoma, Ronnie Moore of Dixon, California and Harl Hasseberg of Mission, Texas. Three sisters, Evelyn Lucas of Ochelata, Oklahoma, Eleanora Edens of Copan, Oklahoma and Anna Louise Woolam of Wann, Oklahoma.
She was preceeded in death by four brothers, Lloyd Gaskill, Alfred E. Hasseberg, Lebert Gaskill and William Hasseberg and one sister, Elizabeth Reese.
