New River Notes reads his stone as Tomy Halsey and notes that he is the husband of Jane Brewer Halsey (Jane's name should read Jane Halsey Brewer). The only Jane Brewer I can locate is the Jane Halsey who married Fielding Brewer. She was the widow of Troy Halsey. Her full maiden name was Polly Jane Hash the daughter of Thomas Hash and Cornelia Phipps.

Troy died between 26 Jul 1857 approximately when his wife became pregnant with daughter Polly Jane Halsey & 17 Feb 1859 when his wife Polly Jane Hash married Fielding Brewer.
