Agnes Gilkey Coatney, 74, of Carlisle, formerly of Harrodsburg, died at her residence. A native of Bourbon County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Mattie Honaker McKenzie. She was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church in Harrodsburg.

Survivors include: her husband, Lester Coatney, Carlisle; two sons, Keith Coatney, Lexington, and Jack (Jessica) Coatney, Harrodsburg; one daughter, Dana Yeager, Harrodsburg; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home, Carlisle, with Ryan Coatney officiating. Pallbearers were Carl Coatney, Ryan Coatney, Sonny Coatney, Paul Horn, Gary Hurst and Justin Massey.


Burial was in Carlisle Cemetery.
