Benjamin Greene died on 4 April 1859, so I had believed that cemetery inscription might have been an error due to legibility and this grave site might have been Benjamin Greene's grave site, which was listed in the inscriptions as adjacent to the gravesite of his daughter, Mary H (Greene) Coe and her husband, Orville Coe, and near another daughter and her spouse, E.B. (Elizabeth Barrows) (Greene) Laudenslager and her husband, Simon Laudenslager. The grave sites of Lucy (Bump) Greene, his wife, and Samuel Greene, his father are unknown.

Married his wife, Lucy (Bump) Greene (bapt. 21 June 1789, Wareham, MA - 5 Feb 1865, Mogadore, OH) on 30 Nov 1815 in RI. Migrated to Mantua, Ohio in about 1817 after birth of daughter
