Ralph Cullen, 52, of 26455 Detroit Road, Westlake, Ohio, formerly of Jefferson, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, August 12 1964, in the Fairview Park Hospital, Westlake. Although he had been ill for six days, his death was unexpected.
Mr. Cullen, a son of John E. and Marry Ann Campbell Cullen, was born March 25, 1913, in Fayette County. After residing most of his life at Jefferson, he moved five years ago to Westlake, a suburb of Cleveland. He was employed as a plant protection guard at the National Screw Company, Cleveland.
Mr. Cullen was a member of the Jefferson Methodist Church and the Crucible Slavonic Club, and while at Jefferson was active in Civil Defense work.
Surviving are his wife, Geneva Galinovsky Cullen, whom he married January 25, 1934; one son Ralph Cullen Jr., of Cleveland, one daughter, Mrs. Jacquelyn Tharp, of Cleveland; and one grandchild; three brothers, Alexander of Cleveland, John T. of McDonald, and William, of Masontown, and one sister Mrs. Margaret Sellers of Falls Church, VA.
One sister is deceased.
