She was born August 15, 1911 in rural Vermilion County to Isaac and Abigail (Deck) Smith. She married Edward E. Reese on August 2, 1933. He passed away in 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers; five sisters; two sons, Vernon Lee Reese and Allen Morris Reese; three son-in-laws, Jack Woodard, Barry Switzer, Dale Juvinall; one daughter-in-law, Vonda; one granddaughter, Christy Woodard Hari and two great granddaughters, Isabella Rose Gresser and Andrea Michelle Cope.
She is survived by her four sons, Melvin LeRoy (the late Vonda), Cletas Dale (Judy) Reese, Edward Jr. (Karen) Reese and Eldon Wayne (Sue Anne) Reese; four daughters, Donnabelle (Gerald) Hutchison, Lavonne (Carl) Neef, Ireta (Robert) White and Anita Cunningham; two daughter-in-laws, Kay Reese and Pat Edwards; thirty- one grandchildren; seventy-four great-grandchildren and thirty-five great-great- grandchildren.
