Soloman Winkler, aged 73 years died at his home north of this city early Tuesday morning. He is survived by three children, Albert and Louis Winkler and Mrs. Lee Yount. The funeral services will be conducted from the Yount residence, Thursday morning at 12 O'Clock. Interment in the Idalia cemetery. Mr. Yount has been a resident of eastern Colorado since 1887.

Grandpa Winkler, one of the old timers on the river, died Monday noon, April 16. he ate breakfast in apparently good health and went to weigh a load of hay, when all at onece, he fell to the ground and expired in a few moments time. The funeral services were held at the home of his son-in-law, Lee Yount, Thursday, April 19, at 11 O'Clock, but on account of the storm, the remains were not laid to rest until Friday morning. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad loss of a kind and affectionate father.
