ZERWEKH, Zoe H. 101, of Willow Street, PA. And formerly of Peoria, and the Gridley area. Died at 2:20 PM. Friday Feb. 4, 2005 at Willow Valley Lakes Retirement Home, Willow Street, PA. Funeral Services 1:30 P.M. Saturday (2-12-05) at Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home, Gridley, IL with the Rev. Steve Estes officiating. Burial will follow at Gridley Cemetery. Visitation will be a half hour prior to the service on Saturday at the memorial home. Memorials may be made the First Christian Church in Peoria, IL. She was born April 11, 1903 in Unionville, MO. the daughter of Samuel G. and Carrie A. Grant Hoobler, She married William C. Zerwekh on June 15, 1927 in Peoria, IL. He died June 20, 1998. Surviving are a daughter Faye Z. (Daniel R.) Ross of Philadelphia, PA. And a son Donald E. of Santa Ana, CA., two sister Faye H. Sherry of Willow Street, PA. and Neta H. Pottle of Sun City, AZ. Eight grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren, and nine Great-great grandchildren. Zoe had lived in the Lancaster area since August 1987, previously living in Ohio. She retired as vice president of the Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. in Dayton, OH where she had worked from 1948 until her retirement in 1968, She was a member of the United Christian Church in Dayton, OH. she attended Willow Street United Church.
