Henrietta Ford was the youngest of four daughters born to James Edwin and Paulina (Keller) Ford of Richvalley, Indiana. She received her education in the Wabash County schools. She graduated from Indiana University and was a member of Sigma Nu sonority.

Henrietta was married on June 22, 1940 in a lovely home wedding to Eugene Rader, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rader of Akron, Indiana. They had two sons: Philip Ford (1943) and Kirk Edwin (1950-1993) Rader; and two grandchildren.

Eugene died in November 1965 and Henrietta second married Raymond William Hilgedag, an Indianapolis attorney, in 1966. He died in January 1986.

She was a resident of Indianapolis, a homemaker and member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, Zeta Tri Alpha sorority and the Republican Club.

Henrietta was a granddaughter of William Wallace and Elizabeth (McClure) Ford of Richvalley; and a gr-granddaughter of William Johnson and Mary (McGee) Ford of Wabash, Indiana (he a brother of Dr. James Ford).
