In 1873, she was united in marriage with John H. Timmermann. Twenty years later, they came to the United States, settling on a farm in Pierce County, Nebraska, several miles from Plainview.
Death took her husband in the year 1909. She continued to reside on the farm home, from where she went to her eternal reward at 11:15, Friday morning, August 12, 1927. Her age was 78 years, ten months and three days.
Her children survive her; Gus of O'Neill, John--"Dick", Mrs. Annie Hilkemeier and George of Creighton, Mrs. Minnie Giebelstein of Iowa, Mrs. Hanna Krugman, Creighton, twenty nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Timmermann was a member of the Lutheran Church all her lifetime. In her last years, she had to be counted among the quiet of the land, who wait upon the Lord.
Funeral services were conducted in Immanuel Lutheran church by pastor, Arthur J. Seeger, Sunday afternoon with subsequent interment in the Eden Valley cemetery.
