Clarence Murphy, 44, of 140 Seventh street, died today at 1 a.m. in the City hospital after a short illness. Mr. Murphy, who had been employed by the Pittsburgh Crucible Steel Company, leaves his widow, Mrs. Nettie Murphy; a son, Leo Murphy of Akron; his father, Nelson Murphy of Glouster, Ohio; three brothers, Ray Murphy of East Liverpool and Donald and Dale Murphy of Glouster, and three sisters, Mrs. John Henry of Glouster, Mrs. Fred Drake of Malta, Ohio, and Mrs. Carl Brill of Columbus.

Funeral services will be held in the home at 1 p.m. in charge of Rev. O.L. Benedum, pastor of the Nazarene church. Burial will be made in Riverview cemetery. Friends are asked to call at the home Sunday afternoon and night.
