WINNSBORO (Special) — Funeral services for Alon Franklin Williams, 55, of Winnsboro, were at 2 p.m. today in Temple Baptist Church with Dr. Randall Sledge and the Rev. Perry officiating.

Burial was in New Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville under the direction of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mr. Williams died Sunday morning in Rogers Clinic here after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin Parish.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lila Mae Williams, Winnsboro; three sons, Howard, Phillip and Charles Williams, all of Winnsboro; two daughters, Miss Peggie Diane Williams, and Miss Penny Lynn Williams, both of Winnsboro; his mother, Mrs. Lillie Williams, Bastrop; three brothers, Jack Williams and Clavin Williams, both of Bastrop, and Chalmes Williams, Monroe; four sisters, Mrs. Earl Posey, LaPlace, Mrs. Milton Albritton, Winnsboro, Mrs. J. B. Humphrey, Delhi, and Mrs. Earl Wilkinson, Greenville, Miss.

Pallbearers were Fulton Polk, J. B. Smith, Lester Manor, Earl Fletcher, Russell Etheridge, John Lee Kincaid, J. W. (Kit) McCain and Jake McCain.
