Gordon William Dillon, Jr., 63, of Harriet, Arkansas and formerly of Osyka, died December 1, 2004 at his residence in Harriet from a gunshot wound.
Memorial services were 4 p.m. Saturday at Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Wesley Watts officiating.
Mr. Dillon was born April 23, 1941 in Tylertown. He was the son of Gordon W. Dillon, Sr. and Mamie Dillon.
He was a retired farmer. Mr. Dillon enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially raccoon hunting. He raised coon dogs and enjoyed animals.
Mr. Dillon was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Dorothy Jean Robinson, one grand-daughter Ariel Dillon, one sister, Maxine Young.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Ferrage of Harriet, seven sons and their wives, Ricky and Teresa Haygood of Magnolia, Randy and Cheryl Arickson and Steve and Regina Montgomery, both of McComb, Austin and Lyn Dillon of Pelahatchie, Gordon W. Dillon III and Cassy of Harriet, James and Donna Dillon of Osyka, and Luther and Dana Dillon of Harrison, Arkansas, two daughters, Janet Courtney of Pelahatchie and Karen Smith of Tangipahoa, Louisiana, thirteen grandchildren, Angela and Chad Howell, Eric and Anthony Haygood, James and Jessica Arickson, Chancy, Stevie and Shelby Montgomery, Kathy Manning and Kyle Dillon, Traci Thompson and Dakota Smith, several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
