Funeral services for Mr. Brinnon Dillon, 85, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from the chapel of Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home. The Reverend Randall Griffin will officiate. Mr. Brinnon, a resident of Osyka, died at the Walthall County General Hospital on Saturday, October 26, 2013.
He was born March 27, 1928 in Tylertown, Mississippi, the son of the late Gordon and Courtney Ginn Dillon. He was reared by Mrs. Etha Barnes who also preceded him in death. He was retired but had worked in pipeline construction where he served as a union stewart and also owned and operated his own trucking business. In addition to his parents and Mrs. Barnes, he was also preceded in death by two daughters: Pam and Bridgett; two step-sons: Tim Owens and Keith Hill; one brother, Hulon Dillon; and two sisters: Ailene and Wilene.
Mr. Dillon is survived by his wife, Kathleen Lee Dillon of Osyka. Five sons: Jimmy Dillon of Tylertown; Alton Dillon of Sacramento, California; Brinnon Dillon, Jr. of Hammond Louisiana; Greg Hill; and Perry Hill both of Tylertown. Five daughters: Bridgette Dutt of Tylertown; Anita Phillips of McComb, Mississippi; Lillie Todora of Tylertown; Judy Thomas of Sandy Hook, Mississippi; and Kay Jordan of Titusville, Florida. Many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Tylertown Cemetery II.
